Grant Bradburn has been named head coach, and former head coach Mickey Arthur has been named consultant team director by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).


According to media accounts, four of the national team's six managers will be expatriates when the home white-ball match against New Zealand begins next month.


A five-match T20I series and an equal number of ODIs between the Babar Azam-led team and New Zealand will begin on April 14 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.


The squad's six-person coaching crew will include two coaches: strength and conditioning instructor Drikus Saaimon and team physiotherapist Cliffe Deacon.

Morne Morkel, a former South African pacer, has joined the team as the bowling coach, and Andrew Puttick, a former South African batter, has joined as the hitting instructor.

Before the white-ball series begins, Mickey Arthur will join the national squad to train his coaching staff before resuming his position as head coach of Derbyshire.


To get the national squad ready for the upcoming World Cup in 2023, Mickey Arthur, who earlier led Pakistan to the Champions Trophy victory in 2017, will return in September.

Due to obligations with the Indian Premier League, Morkel will skip the New Zealand match. (IPL). The new teaching panel's contracts' durations have not yet been made public.
