The newest campaign to advance female equality in STEM disciplines has been unveiled by the British Council Pakistan.

The Council has announced more than 100 bursaries for women from Asia and the Americas who wish to study for a Master's degree in the UK.

The grants will aid female students who want to study science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

48 of the 100 available grants are set aside for female Science researchers from Pakistan and other South Asian nations.

There will be no restriction on the number of recipients from any one nation, and the scholarships will be given out based solely on ability.

According to the British Council Pakistan, this decision will open up new job opportunities for bright women in the STEM fields.

Selected women will be able to learn from experts in the famous STEM disciplines in the UK thanks to the grants.

They will then be better able to support study and invention in their own nation as a result.

21 UK colleges are working together to give the scholarship program.

A completely supported Master's degree or an Early Academic Fellowship at a UK institution will be made available to students. The grant pays for education, a stipend, travel expenses, visa fees, health insurance premiums, specialized assistance for moms, and English language instruction.

Additionally, the grant program offers a venue for lifelong ties to the UK through active participation in the alumnae network.

It also seeks to motivate the subsequent generation of female Science professionals. 115 scholars from all over the world were chosen for the most recent group, including 15 women scholars from Pakistan.

Amir Ramzan, the Country Head of the British Council Pakistan, asserts that the UK has a well-known, genuinely global higher education industry. These scholarships will give gifted women the chance to seize a once-in-a-lifetime chance to advance their jobs in their preferred STEM areas and then use the experience to do more good when they get back home.

Women with children are eligible for the grant and will receive additional assistance.

Depending on the institution, the application date ranges from March to May 2023. Checking specific institution dates is advised for students.
